You know in business news, they alway show workers in front of like 3 screens, apart from streamquoting shares price etc, what etc do they show? is it possible those get it at home?
 
Bloomberg as standard, generally a proprietary platform too.

You're probably looking at $20,000 a year or so.
 
Live trade data- i.e. volumes, spot prices, and a whole array of charts: moving averages, candlestick charts, etc, etc.

You can get it... It's called Level 2 trade data (in its most basic form), but its's not cheap at all!

I used to play a game called Wall Street Raider, was a lot of fun... worth having a go. :)
