I'm thinking about overclocking my rig (see sig), but i cant afford any extra fans/coolers at the mo. Is it possible to overclock my cpu without any extra cooling (and not break it!)? I only have the one stock exhaust fan and and an asaka 120mm at the front. Both mobo and cpu are running about 30 degrees ish. Thanks

Your only allowed 4 lines of text in your sig.

You should be able to overclock with that, 30c is quite a good temp so you should get a good overclock from it. Just keep checking the temps when doing it, if it reaches around 60c then its too high.

I've mainly seen guides about oc'ing the cpu, anyone know of any other good starter guides for ocing the ram and gfx card? And one last thing, any good (and free) 'stability' testers? the only one i've heard of is memtest but i've never used it. Thanks people

A lot of people also use prime95 or s&m to test their cpu overclocks, and ATI Tool is good for checking your gfx card overclock (aswell as 3dmark)...
