if i overclock the FSB by a modest 5%, putting memory and cpu to 1120 and 3.3 ghz would i need to tweak the stock voltages at all, or is stock fine when doing such a modest overclock?

which cpu?

most c2d chips would probably remain stable after a small incrase such as that.

A 8500 dual core, seeing some of the clocks ppl have got on these i'm guessing the cpu will be fine, it's the memory i was wondering more about to be honest, stock is 1.8 volts and 1066 speed, there's info about on mem overclocking so i'm not sure if it best to leave the mem voltage at stock or increase it a tad when upping the mhz to 1120 via a small FSB increase

Which PC2-8500 runs at 1.8v?

I've got this, Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-148-CS) in cpu z it says it's on 1.8 volts, i've now noticed in the mobo bios the timmings are differant too, 5-5-5-18 in the ad it's got 5-5-5-15 as quoted? it is running at 1066 Mhz at least that part seems right

This has left me a bit confused to be honest, i'm new to self builds, just completed my first one and while i got a grip on the basics some of the more in depth stuff is still proving difficult to get me head around.

Also whats with all the price increases on OCUK aswell? that memory was 10 pound cheaper when i got it and it included the now 12 quid optional fan
