@Robbie_G

do you know when you'll be stocking EKWBs new Strix Mono block?

Is it just me.... Or does that look slightly unfinished .. ?

I like the clear top thou, cant get enough of seeing coolant zooming about :D

For me it's the bottom 2/3s on the right hand side. Needs to be flush and straight but I'm guessing one of the boards must have had compatibility issues so it's dug in a little... Just takes away that neatness .

Seems ETA is 23/03 :)

Just for reference, have to remove the rear panel shroud fitting, but doesn't look too bad, must get it built up today wife permitting .....

Just one other thing, holy crap it weighs a tonne.

damn, wet dream!

and damn again for having to remove the IO plate before hand, was just hoping to pull out the AIO and stock heatsinks and attach it still in the case :(
Im guessing its the 45 angle tip of the RGB strip that catches the mobo block when installing?
or its is removal of the stock sinks that need the IO panel removed?

just hoping the LEDs are addressable in it, so can mimic the rainbow effects on the Rear panel :) I've got Phantek LED kit and cant don running rainbow effect which is a shame

Problem lies with removing the stock heat sinks, you cant physically get the one off without the shroud being removed, but its only 3 screws, and again, they will only be accessible with mobo removed.

The shroud on the motherboard has 4 addressable LED's, I went with the Phanteks LED kit and used the other header on the motherboard, one for the monoblock and one on this kit, They color matych perfectly, excellent so far, I did have a Hue+ previously but went titsup and was mailed a replacement from NZXT which ended up costing £18.12 in customs fee's, cheaper and better option was that Phanteks kit, the Hue+ can find its way onto the bay. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-rgb-led-strip-starter-kit-ph-ledkt_cmbo-cm-023-pt.html

I've got the starer kit and using phanteks header but rainbow effect isn't mimicked as like the IO shield. They all go from one colour to the next instead of changing up the chain.

Is the Mono block about to match the IO rainbow pattern ? Not the end of the world if not but they led strips do bug me for it

Mono mimics the rgb headers and not the IO shield, looks good though in person, phone pics not the best.

I've got this in my basket right now. Did you guys have trouble installing the block? I'm not quite picking up the issue you are discussing, would it be the same for the micro ATX board?

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £285.48
(includes shipping: £10.50)

No issues at all, or should I say its a Non Issue, the shroud is 3 screws and a rgb header, goes on easy, no problems at all.
