I'm glad to see at least one club using the extra TV revenue to give something back to the fans. I'm sure most clubs will be blowing it all on higher wages.
I wonder if any other clubs will follow Stoke's lead?
Nice move from them. For what it will cost every team could do it/should do it.
Will be interesting to see the numbers of people who take it up. Stoke perhaps have a huge majority of their fan base in the town so it will work well but other clubs not so much.
Interesting but I doubt it is purely from an altruistic angle. More fans away from home = better support and hopefully better results. Also encourages fans to become more involved / loyal to the club which increases their revenue. Its a good idea though. Everyone is a winner.
