I have a few stone chips on my tank, they are very small less than a couple mm, however they are starting to rust.

What can I do to fix/protect these?

Only been riding a couple months so need some tips :)

Depends on the value of the bike/cost of a new tank IMO. To properly sort it you'd need to grind all the rust out and repaint. You could paint over or put some form of protection over them, but it will most probably continue to spread.

Get a hold of some ACF50, good stuff. Try and remove as much rust as you can, then rub this stuff over, should hopefully get rid of what rust is left, and provide a protective layer. Just remember to keep layering it every now and then to stop corrosion getting a hold. Best thing to do is try and rub it over any metal parts on the bike, should stop the winter weather getting too it too much.
