Just noticed after washing the car that there's 3 small stone chips.

I assume this would count as normal wear and tear for PCP deal?

The car is only about 5 months old :(

The front of my car looks like some kind of strange insect and stone graveyard. So many chips, so much blood, it's unnerving (and difficult) to wash. Sometimes I feel like a whole new front-end would be cheaper than getting that many chips replaced, bloody motorways :p

Normal and expected. Assuming not a weird colour just do a Dr Colorchip touch up before you return it. Should cost about £60 and is easy to do and gives good results.

Been tailgaiting lorries have we? :p

Tbf i was over in scotland recently and going through glasgow there was a big quarry tipper without his cover and he was spraying grit over every car a mile behind him, was very annoying as he did that inch by inch overtake lorries do.

Unavoidable chips sadly, hard to keep a dailys front end in pristine nick

Most car auto-stores sell Turtle Wax coloured wax that comes with a wax crayon. Buy the one that most closely matches the colour of your car to fill in the stone chips, and polish using the coloured wax a few days before the car needs to go back. If you are lucky, then the stone chips will be barely visible. The wax will wash out with a few washes though, hence doing it just before the car needs to be returned.

If you spend time and money getting them fixed permanently just now, sods law dictates you will get a few more new ones to take there place within days.
