Can’t tell if its down to the metal, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t be concerned.They will rust eventually if its down to the metal.
I know you are only taking the **** but even if I did need a new panel it wouldn't really be feasible as the chips are on the Tridion safety shell as pictured...Probably need a new panel, I'd advise emailing your local Smart dealer to ask them for a cost and parts availability.
I look forward to the ending of this adventure where a whole new car is purchased to resolve this issue.

Not dwelling on anything just saying.Either get a touch up pen, or don't, but please move on with your life and not dwell on such insignificant things - it's not healthy
Omg look at the state of that car, it looks like the front and rear ends have both been smashed leaving it barely half the size of a normal car!Here's a photo of one of dominos fleet. Its in a lot worse condition than mine and I doubt they plan to do anything about it...
