Every now and again I get a pop up box from sodding Apple asking me to install Safari, no matter how many times I say no it still pops up about once a week, how can I stop it?

You need to remove the Apple Update program if it's possible to, I chose not to install it.

You can disable the apple update prog through msconfig. Just go in there and siable it.

If you want to keep the Apple Updater disable it in Scheduled Tasks, or if you do not want the Apple Updater you can un-install from Add/Remove Programs.

Grrr what a crock. I really don't like the way Apple marks it pre-ticked on the update manager. It abuses the trust of users, hidden with updates and just shamelessly pushing their browser. TBH I've kept away from it - why change from Firefox?
