Stop AutoPlay for USB Drives

Hi there,

How can i get vista to stop autoplay for pendrives.

I don't want it to detect what check media is on there, but just show the folder straight away, so I don't want to see this, i just want to see the drive in windows explorer popup:

I know i could just click "Always do this for pictures" and then click on show folder, but if the media changes it would show that box up again. I want it to skip the whole "checking media" process and just show the folder.

I hope i have explained this properly.

click autoplay in control panel and select the items to open up as folders and its done
(e.g. pictures, videos, audio files)

Yeah but surely that would do the same for CDs aswell, which is not what i want.

Also - if I had a 1TB external HDD it would search through everything to look for media first.....i want it to totally skip that and just show the drive in windows explorer.
