Stop icons flashing in taskbar

Got Windows 7 Pro at work and have load of apps open and they often want attention so flash orange in the task bar.

Anyone found a way to turn this off?

I am a admin so I can tinker with stuff

It might help if you disable the UAC; there might be an option inside the application itself. Otherwise, I don't think there is any way you can do this! :/
