Okay, so..

I'm about to purchase a new psu to replace the ageing black box in the bottom of my case. And I've hit myself a bit of a wall.

I'm going to buy myself a nice and shiny Ax760i

But here's the thing, I really wish I wasn't spending so much, so I'm going to ask you guys for alternatives, the 'i' thing doesn't bother me too much, nice to have but not important, but I do want the following;

* Must be fully modular, unless extremely worth my attention
* All black cabling (I hate rainbow)
* 600-800w or there abouts

So, can you convince me, or shall I just buy the shiny

You're paying for the USB interface with the AXi, for which the CorsairLink software is crumby at least.

I was gonna get the AX860i before i realized this.

I ended up with a HX850: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-097-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084

Running 1090T on 890FX with HD5770 and HD 7950 quite happily, and folding 24/7, I haven't even heard the fan on this, if it wasn't for this feature I'd have thought the fan was dead.
Although it's not fully modular the only permanent cables are 24-pin, 8-pin EPS, and a PCI-e power (i think you'll be using all these anyway). The rest are modular. I'm a happy bunny, with beer money :D:cool::D
