Stop the BBC RSS text from scrolling

I'm developing a digital sign page for work. We have the BBC RSS news feed in our current version and I'm keen to carry it over to the new one. I don't like how it scrolls the text like a ticker. Is there any way to adjust the RSS feed so that the text just appears and doesn't scroll its way onto the screen? I'm guessing the answer is no, and even if I could, the terms of using the BBC RSS feed would prevent it. I've looked at those terms but there's nothing obvious about somehow modifying a feed.

I'm using Sedao's ImageFlyer if that helps with the answers. :)

I think I know what you mean, but the scrolling is going to be a feature of the digital sign rather than how the BBC have set their RSS feed up. All RSS feeds have the same format... they just publish information which can be picked up by an RSS reader.

It might just be a simple case of changing a setting on the sign, but it doesn't look like it's possible to view manuals on their web site without signing up for an account.

The manual I've got a print out of? The manual I've got a print out of that's pretty useless. That manual? :p

I'll have another look tomorrow but I did look around the available buttons and controls when I selected the RSS feed in ImageFlyer and there seemed to be no obvious control for scrolling. I'm worried its a default behaviour that can't be changed. :( I was pretty sure it wasn't the BBC making the RSS scroll but I thought I'd ask. :)

Just got into work and had another look at the RSS options. There was a "Just appear" setting that I ticked the box for. It now "just appears". :)
