Hi,

I have my computer set up to my 1920x1080 monitor via DVI connection. Sometimes if I want to stream the image to the other room for gaming or movies I just connect the hdmi cable into the ATI HD7870.

What I have noticed is the monitor then resizes and makes everything look bigger.

Is there anyway I can get the monitor to keep the same resolution settings and also project it to the TV at the TV resolution?

Have you got it duplicating the display to the other screen by any chance? Or is it just extending the display?
 
Pretty sure its on duplicate..

Its more annoying because when I go to unplug HDMI and go back to monitor my desktop is all over the place lol.
 
What TV is it? If it's a 720p TV then that could explain why it's making bigger, as when you're in duplicate mode it sets it to the screen with the smallest display.
