Stop YouTube shorts that you've posted, from showing up to your subscribers?

Bit of a weird question, but does anyone know if there's a way to stop a short that you post on youtube, for it to not show up in you subscribers feed of latest videos?

For instance, right now I have 50 odd channels I subscribe to, but if they post a short, it also shows up in their latest videos.

I don't mind their shorts, but if I want shorts I'll go to the shorts section, and when I want proper YouTube videos I'll watch those in my subscriptions.

As a result, I don't wish to do that to anyone that subs to me. I wish to try posting shorts, but tbh I don't blame someone for getting turned off a channel by them, especially as shorts are more frequent, so can clog up a feed

further to this, your suggestion worked but only for normal videos posted on youtube. when i post shorts (the only way i know how is to use the youtube mobile app) it still goes into subscribers feeds. any clue how to stop this?

I do not use the app at all to upload my content so I do not know of a way to prevent this. I understand that posting from your phone may work well, but is there any reason you cannot record on your phone and then put on your PC to upload? Or is that a major hassle?

Tbh when i've tried to upload a short via pc, it never goes as a short, just as a normal video. on pc you just upload a video, on the app on a mobile, it's upload video, or upload short.
