Well I guess it was going to happen sooner or later, had my license since I was 17 and I'm now 40 and never had a ticket, got stopped this morning for 34 in a 30 limit so 3 points and £60 fine :(

Just noticed though that the ticket doesn't have my registration number on it, is it still a valid ticket?

To be honest I'm probably just gonna take it like a man and take the points and fine, just a bit annoyed with myself to be honest ;) The Copper was a solid bloke though, said he hated give out tickets and told the story how he got stopped for speeding recently ;)

Well due to an administrative cockup by the Police I'm going to get my £60 fine refunded and my license returned to me with no points :) :) :)

Don't think it was the fact the reg number wasn't there, just they ticket office never got the ticket from the Officer involved.

I surrendered my license but apparently the Officer involved never did anything with his copy of the ticket so there was no offense for the Central Ticket Office to process.
