Hi,

I was reading here about a program which you can use to stop your mac sleeping, but can't for the life of me find the thread. Does anyone one know what said application is called or where the original thread is?

Thanks.

You can tell it not to sleep in the system preferences under the energy saver icon - just slide the sleep bar all the way to the right to stop it sleeping.

I *think* this app allows you to stop the mac laptops sleeping even if you shut the lid, which saves you having to wake it up again, which might be what he's after.

Ah right - cheers Mohinder, makes more sense! was wondering why he was asking to do something so simple!

It only takes a couple of seconds to wake it up plus the advantage of battery saving?

I guess it might be usefull if he wanted it closed whilst it is dling overnight or just playing music, or using it with an external monitor, the possibilites are endless lol.

If you're using an external monitor, you can wake it up while it's closed anyway.
