Stopping a text from sending?

Well, I drank a little and sent the wrong text to the wrong girl, using someone else's name, however i realised this during the sending mode (im pretty sure this text hasn't actually sent) and turned my phone off, but i know that as soon as i turn it back on it will send the text again, is there anyway of stopping this?
im thinking a lead bunker will be needed.

Go somewhere where there is no signal and turn it on.

take sim card out and turn it on then put someone elses sim in and turn it on then put your own in and turn it on

buy a new phone?

What do you mean by "wrong girl" anyway? Does it really matter - will the person you sent it to actually care?

yep, Go somewhere you know there's no signal. Turn phone on. then go to outbox and delete.

Get a hold of the "wrong girls" phone and then turn your on. Delete the message from hers as it arrives.

Had this happen to me recently, only mercifully it was just sending Christmas wishes to a male mate which I'd copied from one I'd sent to someone else without remembering to change the name. Didn't really matter quite as much. If you turn your phone on without the sim in it maybe?
