Stopping I.E showing opended pictures in the history?

Its really bugging me. I have two monitors when im working one showing Webpage (for research) and the other showing images etc. When ever i open a new image up (i open a lot ) my I.e's history on the other monitor becomes chocablock with images/folders i have opended -_- Can take a few seconds to wade through and find a specific page i was on and really slows down my progress -_- Is there ANYWAY i can stop this? without downloading a new explorer?

p.s im normally viewing history as order vistied today.

If it's just plain image files you're opening, you could download a decent image viewer like IrfanView, or just set them to open in the Windows image viewer? A web browser isn't really the best-suited program for working with images...

well thats the wweird thing im not using the I.E to open them. (sorry should have put that in the first post) im using/have used winodws photo viewer (the one that came installed on my pc)paint and corel paint shop pro. With PSp it only shows the odd photo in the I.E explorer's history, but i HATE viewing my images in psp.

Windows Photo Viewer will add the images to history. Stay away from that if it bothers you.
