Is there any way to stop Windows 10 from updating to the latest Creator's Update?

I use a very temperamental piece of software that refuses to run on the update and need to stop the automatic update until the developer sorts it out.

TIA

That doesn't work anymore as they have some way of re-enabling it. I have been trying to stop this for a couple of weeks now but the longest I have been able to keep it disabled is 2 days before they re-enable it again. If you have 10 Pro you can defer feature updates for up to a year under Updates>Advanced Settings.

On my HP media server which was having issues with the recent W10 updates, I used this ....

https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10

It has worked a treat by totally disabling those updates.

It has worked for quite a while now.

The media server is stashed away up in the loft and with updates enabled it would often automatically restart but never manage to boot again. Saved me lots of trips up to the loft.

Settings/Update & Security/Advanced Options - should be able to delay the feature update by 365 days (or whatever you want), could also set updating to Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted). Assuming you have these options, as it seems to differ from one Windows 10 version to another...

Just downloaded this and trying it now. All other options haven't succeeded in stalling the update. Fingers crossed!
