... when changing the input on my external monitor. I'm using a dvi-switch to toggle my display between my desktop and my laptop, but whenever I hit the switch it detects that the display is missing and gathers the windows onto the laptop screen. Which would be fine, except it doesn't put them back after.
My current ideas are:
- Find a way to disable display auto-detection.
- Write an applescript listener for the display change event that records the position of the windows are toggles them.
Does anyone know how to do either of the above, or have a better idea?
