storage machine

a friend of mine wants a system just to hold all his stuff
basically wants a machine to expand on (new hdd)

nothing flashes just as many sata for reasonable price any suggetions

He has three choices

1/ get more hdd for his current pc if he has bays

2/ get a NAS or external harddrive

3/ buy a value or second hand pc or build a cheap one and load it up with HDD'S

he'd probally be best to get an eternal HDD which you can pick up reasonably cheap or get a NAS network attached storage device these are not cheap normally you buy an empty nas then have to buy the HDD to go in it


OR did you mean you want a specced build for him if so budget and what he has and doesn't have
