storage problem

Hi everyone ... I am running windows 7 and my7 d drive is 350 gigs and i have 98 gigs of crap on it but my comp says its 179 gigs how this and how can i clean it and get my space back...Big thanks John

my d ..drive says i have 377 gigis on it but when i go into my D drive and highlight everything its says 127 gigs used but if you look on pics it says 217 gigs used where has the other bit gone..JOHN

PhillyDee..THANKS ..I HAVE ONE hd partitioned into 3..c drive is where windows 7 is ..D is for music and divx and E is windows 7 backup......John

What are the C and E drives? Are they physically different drives? Best way to see is to go into Administrator tools, and Computer management. In Local Storage, it tells you how large each drive is, and how the letters are assigned. You could screenie that for us as well.
