Storage query

Thinking of moving to the Dark side and getting a new iMac but I have a very large iTunes library of approx. 5-6TB currently on a drive in my pc

Want to limit the clutter and wonder what is best way to store these files to use for the iMac?

Would a Synology DS214play work with a mac as I do have a spare one lying about somewhere and I could use my spare 8TB and 5TB drives in it

Otherwise, what options do I have to consider

I have a Synology DS215J and works great between my desktop PC and Macbook, can't think of a better way of sharing between the two than a NAS.

KraniX, thanks for reply and was it easy to set up

I've heard that using a NAS with an iMac is not recommended as it keeps losing the connection everytime you reboot or an update is done
