Storage upgrades

Im looking at upgrading from a 250gb SSD(Mainly OS+1/2Games), looking at getting upto around 1-2 tb SSD , mainly looking at recommendations for what to get, as I'm oblivious as to if there are good or bad brands to stay away from and ones to use!

What are your current system specs?

M2 are currently the fastest drives but all depends if they fit. You can of course use an adapter card but that may not be the best answer if you want to use it as your boot drive.

Good Brands for SSD = Samsung, Crucial & Corsair. Check the length of the Warranty before buying though.

For current specs I'd have to check at home, as I don't think that my mobo supports m2 from what I last looked into

For anything more than a few years old, it's unlikely. But still worth checking as the prices of M2 and SSD aren't massively different so would be a shame to miss out on the best.

Yeah it's a Z97MX-Gaming 5, i looked into it a couple week ago and they didn't say anything about it having one
