Afternoon OCers,

I am going to put Win 8 on my microserver and set up parity, this will be just for the purpose of storing data for my home theatre set up, is this wise? Or would I be better going for 2 way mirroring? Ideally parity will be fine as it will allow me more space.

What say you? Will I be ok with Parity or should I bite the bullet and get some 3TB drives in.

The reason I bring this up is due to this article that has me a little worried.

I always go with mirrors where possible. I've spent too long chewing on my underpants watching arrays rebuilding in the past.

Mirror it is then, got 2x2TB and a 1TB at the moment, payday on Friday will go for another drive and get it up and running
