Anyone else on here followed or pledged on this NAS/Microserver box?

Gonna get one me thinks and replace my 3400G iTX home server build..

Seems a little 'too good to be true' if I'm being honest and realistically needs the cpu upgrade imo.

Personally I would want an 8 drive version.

Even if this doesn't come to fruition you can do something fairly similar albeit at a slightly higher cost using the jonsbo n2 and the motherboard listed in the nascompares video...

Yeah, I got kinda carried away with the whole thing tbh, there's nothing wrong with my existing 'server' box, 3400g based, 32gb ram and then a mix of ssd's and spinners..
If it arrives it arrives, but we'll see, done 2 other Kickers before one, materialised, the other people are still waiting for the product where I got a refund about 2 years ago now...

I can understand why you might get interested in a case specifically designed for a home made nas..... I'm trying to find that 'perfect' case for a build I want to do, the closest I've come up with a fractal node 804 using a sfx power supply to give more cable space for the hard drives but I can still see 'issues' with it.... it's a shame one off's are so expensive because I'd design my own but it conflicts with my unwillingness to part with money lol

TBH the perfect NAS for me doesn’t include much local storage now, merge cloud and local NVMe with a fast connection and you’ll never want to go back.

Fast connection is my issue, we're limited to what we can get, currently get about 70Mbps down and 12Mbps up.
Might go to an offsite clone first.
