Store docs on iPhone

Is it possible to store Word/Excel Documents on my iPhone without having to keep them as email attachments?

Also, does anyone know of an application that will allow me to edit Word documents on the iPhone?

There are apps that let you store any type of file on your iPhone, I use airsharing but there are others on the app store.

Don't know of any apps for editing, don't think there are any yet tbh.
