Ok so I started packing some hardware away and don't have original boxes. I've found a big box that just about fits motherboard and PSU in. It's gonna be in a storage in the bathroom. Would it be safe to leave it in there? Still has ram, CPU and SSD in there.

Also I have a 7" LCD screen and can't find original box, what's the safest way to store that?

Why the bathroom?

I guess the obvious is if you use this bathroom for showering then it'll generate a lot of steam which might not be great for it even if they are stored away in a box.

I wouldn't be storing any hardware in the bathroom, purely because of the humidity.

Best bet for any sort of long term hardware storage without original packaging, is antistatic bag, then bubble wrap, then ideally store in a plastic storage box with lid that clips down. Toss some of those silica gel desiccant bags in for good measure.

Bathroom because it has small decent sized area to store lots of stuff and there's no other place really. It's behind a well insulated door.

Can I put the little monitor in clear plastic bag or is that not safe?
