Hey guys

Sorry for the n00b question but am new to apple products! :o :D

Just wondering if there is a 'remember me' with the password on the iPod Touch - it asks me every time I want to get an application and it'd be much better if it woud just remember my password.

Just wondering, hope someone can help. Thanks.

I am pretty sure there is not, it will only remember it for the current session so if you buy several things in a short space of time you don't need to keep re-entering the password. It's a security feature so that if your iPhone/iPod gets stolen the thief can't go on a spree and rack up a huge bill for you.

My friend got his iPhone stolen and he had the eBay application installed with the setting to remember his password enabled. The next day the thief had listed several cars for sale under his account and it was a real pain to sort out with eBay. I don't think it is a good idea to save passwords on a mobile device that can be lost or stolen.

On the other hand, it encourages people to use short, less secure and duplicate passwords for things just so they can remember the damn things when using their iPhone.

I'd like to see official Keychain sync with the Mac that the iPhone is paired with. It's disappointing that this hasn't happened.

It makes a mockery of the name Keychain when the only place you can't take it is in your pocket!
