Storing WC Components

I need to mod my case and so will strip everything out of it. My CPU block, pump and rads will sit for anything up to one month before I rebuild the loop. Is there anything I need to do to protect from corrosion other than just empty all the water out?

It's a good opportunity to strip the blocks down and give them a good clean, flush the rads through, clean the fins out with a can of compressed air if dusty. Dry everything off and store them. Good idea to block the inlets of blocks, pumps and rads off just in case a spider want's to set up home.

I stored mine in plastic containers with lids on.

you can buy big ones also.

Give everything a good clean and flush the rads with distilled water. If its a copper rad, I would block the ports to minimize copper oxidization.

Once they are cleaned and emptied out I would put the parts in a warm place (the airing cupboard) for 24 hours to dry them out, them bag them up until you rebuild.
