As the ever looming rebuild is nearly ready i'm stuck on what CPU block to get. My current Swiftech Storm is still peeforming perfectly albeit on a aging E7400 @3.9ghz but its rock solid at 42 degrees constant no matter what I throw at it.

This brings me to wondering if there is a baseplate for the Swiftech Storm block for the 1155 CPU Skt? I dont think so but some more knowledgable on here may know if there is a way.

Failing that i'm looking at the HK Extreme LT i presume?

Only the CPU in the loop at the mo and I have a Vario D5, 240mm rad and I have run an old 8800GTX with watercooling the GPU with no increase in heat, but i do plan on getting a GTX570 or above and adding a block to that....would I need to go bigger on the rad or is it wait and see?

I think OcUK sell a universal mounting kit - might be worth a try :)

i'd get the HF

I would get a bigger rad unless it's a very good rad and you don't intend to do much Oc'ing. Let someone else confirm this though :)

Thanks for the Cleecoooo. I'll have another look on OCUK for the mounting kit. And yes i did mean the high flow block not the low temp one.....cheers
