Stormland pulled from sale? :(

I have posted on oculus forums in the hope it is temporary as I have been waiting on a sale or a 30% off code to buy this.

but I searched on the store this morning and no hits. going via Google and it says the game is unavailable.

I hope it is temporary and not gone the way of other titles pulled from sale.

I think it's even worse than that, people are reporting that they can't even install it anymore!!

that is likely related to a separate issue - which i have had all over xmas - at one point almost the entire oculus library was broken and unable to install. it has been an utter clustermess and had it happened with steam, epic, origin or uplay (or the oculus quest store) it would have been all over the media but it seems like oculus have gotten away with it.

most of my titles are now fixed but last time i checked a few were still broken.

this wasnt isolated to a few users either... i think if you had come to install an affected title it would have affected everyone

It seems that was just a mistake. People can install it from their library page, but, not from the Store page like they used to be able to do.

i actually wish this was not the case (not because i want people to lose their game) but i have a few delisted games from oculus myself - moutain goat mountain and some sports game that came with touch - and they are still on my account.

Had stormland not been available for anyone it would hint that it was an error or temporary but if it is then it is more likely that the game has been delisted. i would have bought the damn thing if i had of known as i have a few quid credit in my account.

just had a PM from oculus. it is still being looked into but they expect it to be back soon. phew!

Stormland had great promise, but really required a patch or two and more content to be truly great. (A lot like From Other Suns in that regard).

I guess its quite strange that this happened right after psvr2 details were just revealed with this being an Insomniac game. Probably just a coincidence but a funny one nonetheless!
