Story board and flash animation?

Hi,

I've recently been tasked too create a flash animated story book for my IT course. It has to follow a theme and it has to be created in flash. I've never had any experience with flash at all. In my last unit I had to create a story board and it was very frustrating as I was limited to using MS word with shapes and arrows. In this unit I will be creating a lot of story boards so I really don't want to be stuck with MS word again...

So basically I'm looking for a program which will allow to to create a story board, so basically something which will show what each part of the flash book will look like. Is there any sort of software around which makes it easier to create things like story boards?

And also does anyone have any links to any good guides to get me started on flash animation?

Flash's own help file's are a good place to start, from the filemenu 'Help > Getting started with Flash'.

i'd be tempted to use flash for the story board also, the drawing tools give you the ability to create the shapes of your choice and then finaly export as image.
