Yep they are but that doesn't mean games are going backwards, it just means there is a market for players who don't want to have to get to level 1000 to get a more than a paintgun or don't have 500 hours per week to play games.

This looks to be right on the money for me so I'll be watching closely as everything now is either crafting, looting or survival requiring days and days of your life.
