Straightening a charging port without actually opening the phone

on a S22 Ultra. Is this even possible? Local repairer claims it will only cost £20.00 if it is.

What's wrong with it?

£20 is what I'd charge if it was a simple charging port clean

There's no lint around it or dust. The charging cable falls out. On an initial inspection the repairer indicated the charging port was bent-as per the original post. I don't see how it can be straightened without opening it (given the limited access so why imply it can?)

How sure are you about the lint situation? Have you tried cleaning it out with a toothpick or pin? Symptom sounds exactly the same as I had on my pixel when there was some impacted lint in the port - wasn't visible, only became apparent with some vigorous digging/fishing/scraping.

Yeah. Cleaning it was the first thing I tried.
