Strange AOL error: What on earth is this about??!!

This error box pops up every couple of hours that I'm online:-

It refers to AOL Topspeed, which is part of the AOL software which apparently, speeds up browsing.

My "D" drive, is my Pioneer A106 DVD/R optical drive.

Any ideas what this is all about?

And stop laffing at the back........"AOL.......LOL!!!". :cool:

uninstall and reinstall perhaps?
or how about not using the aol software if you are on broadband?

Forgot about being able to connect without the software!!

I'll give that a go and see what happens. :cool:

No problems now I've set up another Network connection to connect without the AOL s/w. Not seen the error reappear yet.

Browsing appears to be a bit quicker too thru IE and Firefox.

Think I'll reinstall the AOL s/w, although its bloatware, it has a few nice features ( not many granted though!! ).

Think I'll bin AOL at the end of the year anyway. Been ok up till now, but I fancy trying another ISP, have done for a while.
