It the first time I press DEL and it took ages to wait until the bios come up after a minute delay as I never had like that before ?

I had switch off pc and try again, but same again. I had notice when it start to load windows, it take bit longer to boot up!

Why is this ? What is cause it ? Was it to do with bios battery worn out ?

When you reset could you press TAB and see what is happening during the self-diagnostic check please. You should have some indication there as to what is taking so long.

Gigabyte have never been on my list of boards, would be my last choice...
The bios issue though, that shouldn't be a Gigabyte problem surely? it is more likely to be the Bios Rev?

I had updated bios F13j and everything was fine, no more cold booting problem or bios rev problem. The new bios firmware is look nicely and can see all cores temperature now in the bios! And nice clocked @ 4.4Ghz (HT enabled) !

bulldog147 or any other UD5 owner - What is the easiest and safest way to flash the bios on the UD5?

Please be specific as I am a total flash virgin, my UD5 is still running the origioal bios version (unsure which) but I have started to have some irregular problems so want to rule out motherboard software problems similar to the OP.

Thanks
