Has anyone experienced any odd happenings lately? Random things that have happened to me this week (after zero issues during the first month) are loss of keyboard when resuming from standby, random explorer crashes and today, a complete logout from my user account as I was just browsing the web!

Problem: Windows 8

Solution: Windows 7

I can't help more than that I'm afraid.

Then you shouldn't have bothered at all .

ic1male - Your problems sound more machine stability rather than a Windows 8 issue as such. Standard things would be checking last installed software, possibly a system restore, but checking any overclock stability, checking memory, checking hard disk etc etc etc.

ive got a pair of roccat kaves , i have to unplug the usb and put it back in again to get the volume on the remote working, every time i start windows, they work fine.

they were perfect on windows 7

And if he had the problem in Win7 you would say use Vista?...very helpful NOT!.
I'll say check your reliability logs in action centre, gives you a graph chart and any errors(click on them) etc.... might point you towards the solution or the cause.

Does sound like its more then a simple OS issue however.

I did install Dropbox yesterday, that's the only change. But on reboot, Windows Update installed something. Maybe it was to do with that. New drivers perhaps.

I have a pair of them, working fine here:p

as does my K90 keyboard, all controls just work, I have not installed any drivers for it either.

Just to try and help out, have you installed any usb drivers from the motherboard maker, if so, try without them.
