Strange behaviour..

When I was playing Mafia 2, I decided ive had enough and turned my PC off. Although I must have pressed something and now when I press the key 'W', My capslock turns on, and when I press it again, it turns off. Also when I press a letter at the top of the keyboard string, like T, it shows as 3 characters (I dont know what ones)

Now im at windows login screen and I gotta type in the password, but its crypted ofc, so when I type the part of it in, I see 3 characters appear instead of one, and W still turns Capslock on.

Whats wrong there ?

Shift/Alt/Ctrl keys stuck ? Or most likely some dirt stuck under the keys, give it a good cleanout

Plugging the kb into a differnet usb port might help if the computer is just a little confused

What is your keyboard?

Did it come with drivers? Perhaps check Device Manager for any USB problems, uninstall some drivers. Have you tried another keyboard?

Yep, try another keyboard, simplest thing. Or try your current keyboard on another pc?

Start your computer in safe mode. See if that lets you log in, if it does, remove the driver and reboot.
