Strange boot issue with dual monitors

Hi all any help would be appreciated on this issue.

I have a Dell U2515H physically connected via display port to a 780ti and a Sony TV physically connected to a hdmi port from the same 780ti.

The Dell is my primary monitor and the Sony TV is 'disconnected' via software in my Nvidia control panel. I occasionally game on the Sony TV and when I do I would simply re tick the box in the Nvidia panel to 'connect it' and clone the display across to the Sony TV.

When I boot however I get a completely blank screen on my dell monitor until windows has loaded in and then all is fine. Frustratingly I thought I couldn't access the bios but I have realized that the bios screen actually appears on the sony TV before the display output switches to the dell monitor for windows 10.

Is it a bios function I need to change to make the Display port the primary output?

TIA

I've had the same issue since I installed my Hazro HZ27WC as the primary monitor 4 years ago. There was some forum discussion of this at the time and I (vaguely) recall that the reason is that the Hazro only has a DVI input and an IPS screen. As with your set up, the boot up process only shows on the second monitor with nothing on the Hazro until the Windows login screen appears.
As far as I know, there is no fix for this

Thank you for your input.

I do think the 780ti is hard wired to output to the hdmi first and then dp port second. Not a lot I can do!
