unless his board has BCLK chip or hasn't updated BIOS when Intel stopped with Microcode updates , guessing OP is running Z board with ram overclock

guessing you've done 3 runs of each? every background process closed that can be . Power plan to maximum
does R15 kick up the same results ( OC being slower)

i will give this a blast
3 runs or each and R15 too.

i dont know if power plan will make a difference when you oc a none k it lock the clock at full speed all the time, i will set it to max and set windows to performance mode.

I will be back..

Have you checked your RAM timings aren't automatically relaxing (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) with the overclock?

R20 Stock runs single core 402

3 1959

R15 OC runs single core 191

R15 Stock runs single core 166
1 792
2 789
3 804

I am going to re-download R20 as i hope this is a bug of some sort, my stock R20 score is about 500 point down on a 7700k @ 4.4Ghz thats about right, but at 4.48Ghz i am 900 point down on a 7700k at 4.4??? how dose it go down..

Stabilty is not reply a problem then system as been running at said speed for a week or so now.
its just the strange nubmers given by Cinebench R20, i added arounf 700mhx to my CPU's core speed and my score dropped by around 400 points one the stock cpu speed

Pasmark shows a stock CPU speed score of 10004 points and a after overclock 12,154

Mine dropped when I did an all core overclock compared with just letting the AMD boost thingy whatever its called do its thing.

r20 uses avx and avx is disabled when you bclk oc past 102.9mhz. r15 didnt use avx, so the score goes up when you bclk oc, no games use avx anyway.
