Just bought a Samsung SM2494 24in 1920x1080 LCD for my 2nd gaming PC, and it works absolutely fine.
However playing Company of Heroes on 1920x1080, it is shimmering very badly. Like as if the refresh rate is at 10 !! Hurts the eyes. Every other game is spot on at the screen's native res. Just COH.. also if i knock it down to 1776 x 1000 it becomes in sharp. Allbeit that i lose an inch of the screen to a black border.
Being that I only rec'd the screen yesterday I want to eliminate that its a problem with the scren. Or it could be a problem with my ATI4850 that is running on this E6600 machine Win7 64-bit. My other rig is a 1920x1200 so i cant use that for test.
COH is patched to the latest level and google hasn't really bought up a similar problem.
As i said the screen is running fine for everything else i've thrown at it.. Also i forced on VSYNC via CCC, but that didn't help.
Anyone else seen this problem?
