I've just started to have a really strange problem in Vista Business (32bit). After I copy some text or a URL and then go to paste it it doesn't paste the original text, just a single asterisk. It doesn't happen all the time but once it starts it keeps pasting the asterisk whatever I copy. It will revert to normal ops but I can't track down what sorts it out. Sometimes closing a program reverts it to normal, sometimes seemingly by itself.
I assume it has to have something to do with the clipboard as it is affected within the same prog, from one to another and also print screen acts the same. For example if I print screen and then try to paste it in photochop it pastes an asterisk!
Have spent hours Googling with no joy, any thoughts here?
