Strange CPU temp spikes

While running OCCT my CPU is sitting at 34c but once in a while jumps up to 235c. It doesn't stay there just blips up then down maybe once every 30sec to 1min.

Also does the same thing again but down to 11c?

Is this a sign of things breaking down and need replaceing, or just a weird signal.

Just a weird signal, probably just a bug with the software you are using to read it. What do you use?

Try coretemp, realtemp or hwmonitor

Using OCCT. I really can't see how it can get to them temps so quickly then go back to normal!

try using core temp or real temp to see if you still see these peaks

Just used Core temp and Speedfan and both are showing 34-35c. Then if you load up OCCT all 3 programs will spike up and down, so I guess it's just a OCCT bug.
