grabbed myself a 9600GT yesterday to celebrate a new job, and so far I'm extremely impressed!
I ran the crysis built-in benchmarks to try and find a fps-sweet-spot, and found that with every consecutive run, the average fps dropped..
I can understand that the first run is slower as it's loading textures/sounds/everything, but why does the performance drop 2nd run>3rd run>4th run?
This is replicable, and happens in the gpu benchmarks aswell
PS: I know the fps there isn't playable, this is just an example grab from the timedemo logs
