I have a Dell Studio 15 (newish i7 one) I was using it before, multi tasking between WoW and Football Manger Live. The laptop was running fine when it suddenly shut down. It does get very hot and I had it on my bed so I can only imagine the temp was the problem. I switched it back on and it kept blue screening, then going to a prompt of trying to start windows 'normally' or using the 'startup troubleshooter'.
I tried normally but it kept looping back to this message so I chose the 'startup troubleshooter', it then booted into Windows and did some various tests and restarted, I logged into Windows ok but it had actually removed WOW from the laptop! I presume it found this to be the issue, but patching this game takes an age anyway so I'm a bit miffed it did it.
Any ideas why it would have done it and anything I can do to stop it happening again? The laptop is powerful to use both programs, FML hardly takes up any CPU usage anyway.
