Strange Driver Numbers with my 4870.

I just got my new ati 4870.

ive installed the latest 8.6 drivers and the hot fix. but for some strange reason gpu-z shows it at driver version 7.14 and when i run dxdiag it also shows at driver 7.15

just wondering if anyone else with a 4870 has the same problem.

also...the cards amazing, average 30% boost in fps over my 9800 gtx.

eh? what's the problem exactly. why does this bother you? i expect gpu-z is reading the properties of one file and dxdiag is using another. i don't know and i don't care tbh (just checked and it's the same with my 4850 )

the only reason i bring it up is beacuse on 3d mark 06, i scored 12kish with the 4870 and thats exactly the same when i had my 9800 gtx.

seen an increase in game fps..just getting paranoid a bit. wondeirng if my driver isnt installed properly etc
