Strange E8400 E0 temp reading

I recently got hold of one of these chips, and no matter what, the idle temp of one core is 10C lower than the other.

This is using Coretemp in Vista 64.

The load temp is the same, however.

Any ideas which idle temp to believe and why one may be 10C more than the other?

The tjunction on these chips are pap.

Same with the temp diode's on them.

Run realtemp with it and check the sites advice on measuring the best tjunction.
