Ok I was bored and ordered another E8400 for £112
Also my older E8400 had started to degrade after I whacked 1.6v into it for a benchmark session, So I was only stable at 3.8Ghz with 1.4v(4.1Ghz stable before with same voltage)
Now this new one wouldn't run stable at stock speed at all, no matter what I tried, I even upped the voltage to 1.4v and it would still cause a reboot lol.
So after nearly crying I went SOD IT and pushed it up to 4GHZ with 1.36v and guess what. IT'S BLOODY STABLE.
Please explain why this it lol.
